Toxic Reduction Act

The Toxic Reduction Act (TRA) (O.Reg. 455/09) administered  by the Ministry of Environment  focuses on protecting the health of people and the environment.  This is achieved by:

1)  Reducing the use and creation of toxic substances within Ontario manufacturing      facilities.   Thereby reducing emissions released to air, water and land.

2)  To keep the people of Ontario informed about toxic substances being released  in their environment.

3)  To ensure Ontario is well positioned to compete in a green global economy.

CEMS Canada's team of environmental consultants are proud to service the manufacturing industry, throughout Ontario, in all aspects of the TRA, including publishing online mandated reports.
